Many people ask. "What is a 9.12 Group?"
A 9.12 Group is non-partisan. We are Americans who love our country and believe the Constitution is the foundation of this country. We believe that God granted us certain rights and liberties, and it is our duty as Americans to preserve those rights and liberties. We believe that our Founding Fathers were amazingly intuitive people who knew 230 + years ago what it would take to preserve this republic.
The "9"and the "12" represent two things. First of all, it stands for who we were as a country the day after 9-11. On Setember 10, 2011 we were ignorant of so many things. On September 11, 2011 after the attacks we were scared and uncertain. On September 12 (9.12) We pulled together as a nation without concern for left and right, democrat or republican. We were strong together as fellow Americans. Secondly, the 9.12 symbolizes the 9 Principles and 12 Values outlined below.
9 Principles
1. America is Good
2. I believe in God, and He is the center of my life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government
5. If you break the law, you pay the penalty. Justice is blind, and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
